Mitchell Ward joined the team in 2000 and oversees human resources functions for the company and its affiliates nationwide. She has served in human resources roles with financial services companies in Raleigh for more than 30 years having begun her career with Wachovia Bank. She had a 22-year career at Bank of America, where she was senior vice president and senior personnel manager for the Carolinas Commercial Lending Group and Public Finance nationwide. Ms. Ward holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Duke University and Master of Education from North Carolina State University.
